We offer four primary planning packages for your destination bachelorette or bachelor trip in Northern Michigan.

INCLUDED 

During your booking process, we will ask your preference for all-inclusive (includes food, lodging, transportation, and activities), semi-inclusive (includes lodging, transportation, and activities), or partial inclusive (activities and transportation only, you provide lodging). Your booking rate is dependent upon which level of service you choose. In general, once you have chosen your level of service, we either need to adjust group budget if you opt for additional choices, and we do not reduce our package offerings once you have selected a service (for example, if you book us for lodging and later decide to stay in a family condo or cabin, we cannot guarantee the return of your accommodations fees).

PAYMENT POLICY

PRICING

We have added valuable inclusions to our services to provide you with an unparalleled experience. Our prices are per person costs in USD, based on double occupancy. Taxes are included.

 

DEPOSIT

We require a 50% deposit for all trips, per person to secure your booking. Once a trip is under deposit, the trip price is guaranteed unless alternate booking conditions have been noted. Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstance. Fete + Folly reserves the right to decline a reservation to anyone whose health or behavior could impede the welfare or enjoyment of other guests. Fete + Folly will send you a confirmation invoice (for the deposit) payable via digital fee-free services. 

 

FINAL / FULL PAYMENT

If your tour is within 30 days at the time of booking, we will require the final / full payment up front, Fete + Folly will send an email with the Final Reservation Form, once the deposit is received. The Reservation Form must be completed, signed and returned within 10 days of deposit to finalize your booking. This Reservation form helps us prepare our team and make reservations on behalf of the group. Until we confirm your arrangements, please do not make any airline or travel reservations. At this time, we ask travelers to purchase or decline travel insurance. The balance of your payment is due 30 days prior to the arrival date. This balance will automatically be charged to each guest in your group unless other arrangements have been made with Fete + Folly. Cash, checks, and other forms of payment are not accepted.  Please note, travelers who fail to provide a signed Release of Liability prior to trip arrival will not be allowed to check in. 

CANCELLATION POLICY

We do not offer the return of the 50% deposit made by trip participants under any circumstances. If a guest or entire group cancels their booking more than 30 days prior to their trip, the final payment (50% of the remainder of reservation fees) will not be collected. Within 30 days of a trip 

100 + Days = Full Return of Deposit

50 - 99 Days = 50% Return of Deposit

30 - 49 Days = Final Payment Not Collected

0-29 Days = No Refunds After Final Payment Has Been Made 

Guests who fail to provide a signed Release of Liability prior to trip arrival will not be allowed to check in and the cancellation policy will apply. Fete + Folly reserves the right to cancel services at any time for any reason. On the rare occasion when Fete + Folly is not able to provide services to a group, all payments received to date will be refunded, which constitutes full settlement. Fete + Folly is not responsible for any personal expenses incurred due to changes in itineraries or activity or private event cancellations, such as prepaid hotel accommodations or airline tickets. We recommend confirming the full details of your trip with Fete + Folly before making travel arrangements that might be non-refundable as well as purchasing travel insurance.

 

DATE CHANGE POLICY

We are happy to accommodate date changes prior to 30 days before your scheduled trip. In the event of a date change, the traveler must pay any increase in accommodations price and will not be refunded if the new accommodations price is less than the original reservation price. Only one date change is allowed per reservation.

 

ITINERARY CHANGES

Due to circumstances beyond our control, Fete + Folly reserves the right to make date, itinerary and accommodation modifications as needed. Every effort is made to keep changes to a minimum and our high quality is always maintained. For example, if we don’t foresee optimum conditions for outdoor sailing on a particular day, we will make adjustments to look for the best alternative for the group’s enjoyment and overall safety.

YOUNG ADULT POLICY

Our trips and reservations are for groups where each guest is aged 21 and over. We request a copy of each guests Drivers License and one other form of ID for all trip participants. Travelers between the ages of 18 - 21 are encouraged to join for daytime activities so long as they do not actively solicit alcohol from any of our preferred partners nor consume alcohol on the premises of our reserved accommodations. Please contact us if you would like to plan a trip specifically for guests under age 21. 

 

ALTERATIONS TO YOUR TOUR

We will do our best effort to ensure that the itinerary of your tour does not have to be altered. However, if an Event Outside Of Our Control occurs, we may not be able to follow our advertised itineraries or schedules. If any additional expenses are incurred through delay, accident or disruptions of planned itineraries due to Events Outside Of Our Control, we cannot compensate you for such expenses.
