Spring Venue Tour

Location: Please meet in the parking lot of The Botanic Gardens at Historic Barns Park, 1490 Red Drive, Traverse City, MI 49684. There is ample free parking (ADA accessible), restroom facilities, and we will start off in the Community Room.
Tour Route: The tour will start at the beautiful Botanic Gardens at Historic Barns Park in Downtown Traverse City, and the bus will depart at 10:45 AM. We will head up the Leelanau Peninsula via the iconic M-22 route, traversing the county and making 7 stops along the way.
All attendees must be 21 years of age or older. Children and non-ticketed guests are not permitted on the tour and may not drive in separate vehicles.
This event is not service animal friendly. If you have a service animal or another physical accommodation needed please indicate this at the time of your registration.
All registration ticket sales are final and are non-refundable. You may transfer them to another individual if you're unable to make the tour.
For lodging we highly recommend booking accommodations at the Delamar hotel in Traverse City (and enjoying the heated outdoor pool), the charming B&B style Riverside Inn of Leland, and the Roost North family of Airbnb properties around the Grand Traverse region.
The Spring Venue Tour is for those who are newly engaged and curious about what Northern Michigan has to offer in the way of weddings to come with their partners, family members, friends, or solo (we'll keep you plenty company) to explore some of the region's most quintessential and beautiful wedding venues. These venues have been carefully curated for their commitment to quality events, their unique natural, cultural, and historic features, and their openness to hosting a never before tried idea of a group tour. Each venue has been vetted for being inclusive of LGBTQ+ couples and their families, and have ADA accessible bathrooms and partial accessibility of event spaces.
A curated and unique tour of 8 truly Northern Michigan wedding venues that we cannot wait to show you, along with 30 other strangers-soon-to-be-pals. Tour includes historic properties, barns, farms, brand new venues, downtown Traverse City venues, venues with gorgeous views, waterfront venues, venues where guests can all stay on-site, and plenty more you'll see in person
Transportation in an air conditioned (or heated - it is Northern Michigan) coach bus so you can kick back, relax, and take in the scenery while we do the schlepping
Meals, snacks, and drinks including morning coffee and pastry, lunch stop, afternoon treats, and a relaxing charcuterie happy hour. A welcome bag stocked with drinks and snacks will keep you satiated throughout the day as well!
TWO EXCLUSIVELY RESERVED 2024 WEEKEND DATES for tour participants. That's correct, our venue partners have each blocked one prime summer weekend ((May 1 - September 1) and one prime fall weekend (September 1 - November 1) weekend for tour guests to book up to two weeks after April 29 before unblocking them, just in case you find the (other) one.
